Some idioms Brazilian

Modi di dire e espressioni tipiche brasiliane

Each language has its ways of speaking that can lead to misunderstandings and errors of interpretation when translated literally.
Here I present some of that might solve some problems of interpretation in everyday life.

- Cobertoria de orelha = ear = cover your partner, boy, that is, the man who shares the bed with you (there are similar expressions for a woman That is, de Cobertoria orelha is always a man)

- descascar um Abacaxi = = pineapple comes out a big problem to solve um

- mala sem alkaline = suitcase = sleeveless person who breaks and you behind.

- nem que a vaca Tuss = = cough even if the cow is used to say decisively that absolutely will not do a thing .. example: à não vou nem que a vaca Tuss party!

- estar com a FACA eo queijo na mão = having the knife in his hand and fomaggio = having the knife by the handle.

- corn estar perdido do cachorro que em = procissão be lost like a dog in the middle of a procession = do not understand anything of what is said (variation: corn estar por fora do que deda de Francisco = be out in the open, like the finger of a Franciscan)

- Ficar como a de dois paus = stand as two of a = stand still stick
- bonde going = pegar or take the tram was in motion = want to participate in a conversation that had begun before your arrival

- pegar or bonde going and Querer Sentar na = janelinha take the tram was in motion and want to sit at the window = want to participate in a conversation that had begun before your arrival and want to give your opinion.
