Brazil between Myth or Reality

Many people have an idea "prepackaged" Brazil and the misinformation often mean that those arriving on these shores is faced with a completely different reality from what he thought.
With this game, "Myth and Reality" I hope to do more clarity on certain aspects of this huge country, hoping not to destroy the myths that still live in the minds of some of us.
I remember that some are personal opinions clearly and succinctly generalized to be able to answer some questions, so I hope my answers do not offend anyone and if happen, even now I offer my sincere apologies.

Documents required for visa in Brazil

Since many have asked me questions and information on getting a visa in Brazil without the need to get married I decided to publish the document issuing the federal police to all those who want to regularize their situation in the country through cohabitation.
Some notes are added to my pen, but I will translate the official document of the federal police, hoping to clarify some aspects are still obscure.

LIVING

Art.2 - La prova della convivenza può essere fatta con uno dei seguenti documenti: I - Attestato di convivenza emesso da autorità competente nel paese del Richiedente. II- Attestato di convivenza emesso da autorità competente in Brasile o autorità equivalente all'estero.

Art.3 - In assenza dei documenti art. 2 la prova della convivenza potrà essere fatta con la presentazione dei seguenti documenti:
I - Certificato di convivenza o equivalente emesso da una autorità pubblica competente in materia in Brasile (forum o Tabellionato) or an overseas equivalent.
II-Declaration of two witnesses who confirm the existence of co-existence by signing and authenticating the declaration of their signature
III-At least 2 of the following documents
a) Tax return of the called
b) Marriage certificate religious
c) Testament that testifies to the coexistence
d) life insurance in which one is the owner and the other the beneficiary
e) Writing of buying a property in which they appear as owners rent or lease in which both prove be tenants
f) bank account to those concerned

Art.4 - The applicant must also submit the following documents:
I-Report of cohabitation (in paper)
II-Writing and maintenance of public assistance granted in ' competent public office (the same where it requires cohabitation)
III-Declaration of Income carried out in Brazil or in their own country means that these shows can keep both. If the document comes from abroad must be translated by a sworn translator recognized by the Federal Police. (Lists are on the internet)
IV-A certified copy of the document of the applicant
V -
certified copy of the document called VI-Criminal Certificate issued by the competent authority of the country of residence (must be stamped by the Brazilian Consulate and then translated by a sworn translator in Brazil)
VII-receipt of payment of the fee Immigration
VIII-state on their own responsibility for their own marital status (single) in the country of origin

The competent authority may require, at its discretion, provide other documents.

Art.5 - Documents issued abroad must conolato be legalized by the Brazilian foreign and translated by a sworn translator in Brazil

Art.6 - Case necessary to urge the National Council Department of Justice implementing the practice.
