The Magic Harp

June 24

Via Larga 6, Milan
www.luciefontaine.com

Lucie Fontaine is proud to present “L’Arpa Magica [The Magic Harp],” the first show organized in the new gallery space located in the hearth of Milan in Via Larga 6.

The title is a reference to the space, which is partly exhibition space partly a school for harpists. The idea is to capture the energy from both activities – the art gallery and the music school – creating unexpected synergies and unusual dialogues.

This interest was somehow already present in the previous activity of Lucie Fontaine, who for her previous program in via Conte Rosso 18 has commissioned sound invitations and business cards to artist and Lucie Fontaine ghostly comrade Marcello Martin, who together with artist Alice Mandelli will be the guardian of the new space.

Deliberating occupying domestic spaces, for “L’Arpa Magica [The Magic Harp]” Lucie Fontaine has invited a large group of artists, which core is composed by italian artists with whom she has worked in the past three years asking them to present a work that speaks about their relationship.

To celebrate this new era Lucie Fontaine has launched her new website: www.luciefontaine.com The website includes an archive with her previous shows – “déjà vu” – as well as her traveling projects – featured in the section “{Push the} Envelope.”

Located in Via Larga 6, the gallery is open Saturday afternoon or by appointment. If you have any question to not hesitate to contact Lucie Fontaine’s art employees: info@luciefontaine.com
